Steps in the Right direction

There is so much doom and gloom on the news especially since it is an election year. We can't change what people are saying, but we can change what is going on around us.

We need to teach our children and grand children about our founding fathers and what they truly believed, not what the progressive movement believes. As a child I idolized our founding fathers as good God fearing men that wanted freedom, peace and happiness for all Americans and if possible the rest of the world. I was also taught  they were inspired of God to create this wonderful land of Freedom and our constitution. Yet today our children are being taught one of two things:
1. That our founding fathers were crazy old men that didn't really know what they were doing
2. That they were socialists and that progressives like FDR and others are just now being able to bring in what they truly intended.
Both are so far from the truth that it is scary, we need teach our children who the founding fathers are, what they stood for, and that the constitution is an inspired document not an outdated piece of paper.

In an earlier post I stated that I am not a republican, I am going to clarify that for you all. I am indeed registered as a republican, but I do not always see eye to eye with what republicans do. I want to be clear that I strongly believe in small government (not just smaller than what the democrats want, but really, really small government), I believe as Ronald Reagan once said "the government can't fix the problem, it is the problem." I believe in free enterprise - let businesses fail, prosper, and grow on their own. I am opposed to situations like the government bailing out K-Mart for decades. I believe and in a low flat tax, we are way over taxed, and it because of all the socialist radicals wanting to "spread the wealth." I want to help the poor and I do it on a monthly basis, but what I don't like is the government telling me I HAVE to via taxes. When a Republican candidate follows these principles then I am in support of them, but if they are of the mind set of spend, spend, spend... that politician has lost me.

There is hope and that hope is YOU, you can teach your children and those around our about what our founding fathers intended which is limited small government, free enterprise and low taxes. There is one party that is basically in line with these ideals and it is a movement within folks from the right wing. They carry the republican flag because that is the party closest to their ideals; most of you have heard of them it is the "Tea Party," (as in the Boston Tea party going back to our founding fathers most basic principles). Like the republican party I am not in total agreement with everything they represent, but I like their core beliefs because I think they are closest to what our founding fathers intended.

The Day of Reckoning...

How did we get to this point?

How did we get to the point that hand/bail outs and things like health care are a right?

How did we get to the point that our government thinks that our money is somehow theirs for the spending?

I will tell you how, we the vast majority of America who think its wrong have done NOTHING about it, we sit in our homes and watch our country fall apart around us and do NOTHING to stop it. I am just as guilty about this as the rest of us, until recently. It is time we ALL do SOMETHING about it. Speak out in public places, write your congressman and senators and tell them it is our country they are wrecking and our money they are spending and we want a say how things are run. It is time we make our views known! I have always heard that you don't speak about religion and POLITICS in public places like the workplace. Well, I say whoever said that must have wanted to keep their tax and spend agenda going as long as possible and the best way to do that is to keep us from talk about what is what bothers us. I say we speak out about how our government is running our country, and let the NON violent debates begin.

I have a problem with Nancy Pelosi saying that the way to stimulate the economy is to "increase food stamp and unemployment funding." I feel that way not because I have a job and too bad for the next guy, but because it is a proven fact that lowering taxes (especially for the wealthy) has the trickle down effect and more jobs are created!! The small business is what will save this country from this economic disaster NOT the government.

Our founding fathers wanted us to do it on our own, if our business fails... it fails, if it succeeds then it succeeds (sound familiar?). It isn't the taxpayers responsibility to bail out companies like K-Mart for decades just so it can save jobs or keep competition. I think the first thing we should demand is for our government to govern the PEOPLE not our businesses. GET OUT of the free market, NO MORE bailouts, and no more stimuli. Cut our taxes and let small businesses create jobs and save our economy.

I believe that November 2nd 2010 will mark our day of destruction or reckoning in our country.... what happens is up to YOU! Keep your mouth closed and we'll become a socialist nation, open it and make this country great again!

Earlier I made post about making a flyer to pass out in your neighborhood, and I encourage you to make a few hundred copies and PASS them OUT. To make it easier to find your polling locations I have included some state's polling locators. Freedoms blown up!

I have a degree in Biology and during my studies I bought into all of the "save the planet" stuff. In fact I considered myself a conservative that was on the Global Warming bandwagon. This was the one thing I was "liberal" view I had (although I NEVER pushed it on anyone like the liberals do now). This was because every grade school teacher that I had, bought into this lie too and past it on to me.

Then in a college English class I did a project that started to shake my thinking. Then I took an Ecology class that pushed me over the fence... an ECOLOGIST that said that G.W. was FALSE!! He spelled it out to us clear as day, that ALL of the scientific (not political) data DEBUNKED the theory.

Here are some of the things we studied in this regard:
-CO2 vs earth temp over thousands of years
-Solar activity vs earth temp over hundreds of years
We found that there was no direct correlation between CO2 and earth temp, but that there is one between solar activity and earth temp... what a surprise that giant ball of fire has something to do with our climate!!

Here are the facts summed up:
1. From 1940 to the 1970's when our carbon emissions multiplied exponential (unlike now where it is closer to linear), our global temp when DOWN, so much in fact scientists were fearing another ICE AGE!!
2. Man cannot produce enough CO2 to make a difference (look it up, no one believes me on this one).
3. Every major spike in global temp in the last 1000 years has been directly correlated with .... THE SUN (surprised? I am NOT... it's pretty hot).

I encourage you to do your own research, look only at scientific PEER REVIEWED journals not politically charged info. Start with Google and do NOT put in "global warming hoax" or "global warming lie," but look at  , things like "solar activity and earth temperature" or "green house gases and earth temp." Again focus on scientific journals and data only.

So why do I open this hornet's nest?

Because our Freedoms are being taken in the name of a political LIE. Even if it were true we STILL shouldn't lose our CHOICES in the matter. Here is an ad put out in England about kids who decided that they weren't going to do anything to change the global warming. It is graphic so don't let your kids watch it (I first saw this on Glenn Beck the other day)...

It is interesting how in the adult versions it is the dorky or lazy looking that don't want to make the change. It is unbelievable that they would even think of ads like this let alone run them.

It is ironic that politicians started getting called out on the global warming lie so they changed the name to suit their agenda.... notice how they call it global "climate change" now.

Here is the bottom line, I love the environment and I believe in recycling, keeping trash out of nature protecting our oceans and lakes from POLLUTION etc. This is because pollution (smog included) can make our planet gross and endanger wildlife, but global warming and pollution are two DIFFERENT topics!! Lets keep it that way!

We need to stand up and fight or our RIGHT to CHOOSE not have lies guilt us into change. I say don't be afraid to offend people, the truth shall set you and everyone FREE!! Freedom from having to take the bus, freedom from having to ride a bike, freedom from tiny gutless cars, freedom to enjoy this beautiful world God created for HUMANS!! I believe that you should vote for politicians that vow to end the global warming regulations. If you want to reduce emissions you should, and if don't you shouldn't! No one should force us to do anything.

November 2nd make noise in Washington - send a message to our president... Mr. President we want FREEDOM -- Freedom to choose!

Freedom to choose - GONE

It starts like this:

Did you know that after 2012 you will not be able to get an incandescent light bulb? The light bulb you grew up with will be banned in 2012 you'll be forced to get the more efficient longer lasting bulb. That sounds great right? Cheaper, longer lasting, "GREEN" bulb right? I won't get into the global warming debate (even though the facts are clear that Global Warming is a lie, and a BIG FAT ONE), but shouldn't you be able to choose? Since when is okay to take our choices away in the name of "Earth Conservation?!?!" I am outraged about this, not because I hate the earth, don't get me wrong I love it (remember I have a degree in Biology), but this is one of MANY freedoms we are loosing. We need to STAND up and FIGHT for our freedom to CHOOSE, it is a GOD given right and MAN CANNOT take it away, but yet our GOVERNMENT IS!!!

Here is the kicker to this whole mess, it was President BUSH's administration that imposed the ban not OBAMA's!! Progressives on BOTH sides of the isle are the problem and we need to put them back in their corner where they belong. They are the VAST minority, but because the Majority is afraid to speak they are loosing the battle. It is time we take our country BACK!! I want Freedom NOW, freedom to make my own choices, right or wrong they are MINE to make.

What are they going to do next? First off you'll have to pay for the more expensive bulb right (yea, yea I know they are cheaper in the long run, bu they are a LOT more up front)? What about the real energy hogs the AC/HEAT units? Are they going to make you buy new ones of those by 2020? 2030? Who has 5+ grand to drop on each one? I know I don't. You are saying that there is no way they'd do that, but what is to stop them? In the name of Global Warming they are doing a lot of crazy things, the light bulbs are just the foot in the door.

Taking away choices is WRONG, freedom to choose is GOD GIVEN, and I say you need to stand up with me and tell your politicians that you want to make your OWN choices. The government needs to govern NOT RULE!!

Together We Can Do It!

Welcome to Free American Now! I am excited to have you join hands with me as we take our country back to when we were FREE! Free to do choose, free to live our lives as WE see fit.

First I want to introduce myself, second I want to lay ground rules, and third I want you to know what I think is outrageous, and see if you agree with me.

Introduction - My name is Bryan and my credentials are simple: I LOVE FREEDOM!! I do not think freedom comes free, we must fight for it and once we have it... the fight MUST continue.

Let me clarify my views: I am a conservative, not a republican and I believe in less government and more free enterprise. I grew up in southern California in a quiet and relatively conservative community. My family is conservative and religious, so my up bringing leans towards the founders beliefs in divine intervention and small government. I think that I should be able fail or succeed on my own, and I believe that not only should everyone work for their own success, but by doing so they will be stronger and closer to God. By being closer to God, poverty and and injustice will disappear the way the Lord intended it too... by the charity of others, and NOT by the the government snatching your money to wastefully and wrongly spend it in useless power grabbing and inefficient  programs. I do NOT pretend to know all everything about politics in fact I am rookie, but my love for freedom is very INTENSE. What I am is a deeply concerned citizen, who is concerned about mine and my children's future; these are my motivations for this blog and NOTHING else.

Rules:

1. Keep it clean and pure - The design of this blog is wake up Freedom loving Americans to what is going on not have politics as usual, and certainly not fight with one another. While I expect that only like-minded Americans will participate on this blog,  I am sure someone will find this blog and try to undermine my efforts. If you disagree with me that is fine, but please disagree in a Christ-like manner, no foul language or harsh words. Just state your disagreement and why.
2. This is an opinion/wake up blog - If you want facts feel free to get them from credible sources and please bring them into our conversations, but keep in mind the purpose of this blog is to get like minded conservatives to do what is necessary to get the government out of our lives; nothing else. This means your going to hear what is happening in your neighborhoods, not what is going on between pathetic politicians. 
3. Keep things focused on getting voters outraged enough to get out to the polls - This is pretty clear... I want to make you aware of what is going on so you'll go preserve your freedom by voting for small government principles.

Last time I checked... having your freedom taken away was a bad thing.

Last time I checked... communism was evil.

Last time I checked... having wealth WASN'T evil.

Last time I checked... having choices made for you IS evil.

Last time I checked... it was "We the People" NOT "We the government".

Last time I checked... America was the good guy.

Last time I checked... the world looked up to us (even envious).

Last time I checked... America was the leader of the free world.

Last time I checked... what America does helps the world not hurts it.

Last time I checked... American's trouble was a priority over the rest of the world's.

Last time I checked... the success small business was the way to a healthy economy not bailouts of failing corporations.

Last time I checked... spending was not the way out of debt.

Last time I checked... "Taxation without REPRESENTATION" was a bad thing.

Last time I checked... doing something the majority doesn't want should be called out punished.

Last time I checked... black was black and white was white, good was good and evil was evil.

Last time I checked... Americans were charitable by nature and don't need to forced to be.

Last time I checked... the federal government was designed to unify the free republic not squash it like a bug.

Last time I checked... a politician wasn't a rock star, but a PUBLIC SERVANT.

Did you know that... our first lady wants to make it ILLEGAL to put a TOY in a kids meal?

Did you know that... a man in Georgia got in trouble for GIVING AWAY garden grown veggies?

Did you know that... child got detention for eating 1 jolly rancher?

Did you know that... our president is allowing voter intimidation?

If all of this doesn't get your boiling then don't complain when someone comes into your house and tells you that you can't have that bowl of Fruity Pebbles and that you'll have to have the Wheaties instead (because Fruity Pebbles is unhealthy). Sound far fetched? Does this sound like something that Americans will NEVER have to face? If you think so... you have your head buried in the sand!! Get involved in your community stop these injustices before they happen to YOU.

What I have to suggest will cause difficulties for me and many Americans, but I believe it is worth it to suffer now for a better tomorrow. I think what we need to do is put pressure on our politicians TO DO WHAT WE WANT THEM TO DO, NOT WHAT THEY WANT. We need to get politicians both local and federal that listen to the people, and if they don't listen then VOTE THEM OUT!!

Here is my short list of things that need to start happening to get our Freedom back:

1. Cut every government program (state and federal) back by 80% or more, and in many cases cut them totally out. This list includes, but is not limited to: Dept.of Education, FDA, Fannie and Freddie, Welfare, Obama care, free and reduced lunch, Social Security (find some way to fix this program), government bailouts etc... Keep in mind all of these are gradual not immediate.
2. Deport all illegal aliens and secure our boarders - we need to make sure that only legal citizens are in the country, and just for the record this isn't racism it is justice. Illegal aliens are thieves, but not in the way you may think. They come here illegally so they don't pay taxes, but in spite of that they take from the tax payers (welfare, free lunch, free education, free health care, etc). They make a broken economy even worse. Just for the record I think we should make it easier to come here and work legally and to become a citizen. If both of those were much easier we'd have a LOT more legal immigration. Cut the red tape, make it tough, but doable to become a citizen. Also we should enforce the LAW that if any government official or employer wants proof of your citizenship they should HAVE to show it, cut the politically correct bull crap. I have NO problem proving I am a citizen and only illegals are the ones with the problem with it.
3. Stop lending money we DON'T have - America needs to pull every cent of foreign aid... this is plain and simple. Not only should we pull out our help we should collect on every loan we have outstanding to other countries. We don't have money to lend so why are we doing it? I am sorry rest of the world, but the gravy train is out of gas, go find someone else to borrow from... we're broke. I'd hate to sound cruel, but we have to fix OUR problems first. I still firmly believe two things about this, first by our problems being fixed it will help the rest of the world, and second Americans are generous in fact so generous that even when we are struggling we'll still DONATE our money to people and countries who need it. Bottom line our government should NOT unilaterally lend OUR money.
4. Every troop come home - I was a kid when during the first Gulf War, and to this day I get emotional every time I see our troops. I love our troops and support them with ALL of my heart. I have ALWAYS seen us as the world's referees and that we SHOULD BE just that. My opinion hasn't really changed a whole lot, but I can say that tough times calls for tough measures. America is bleeding and we need to STOP the bleeding, then go back out and help others to do likewise. Having our troops home will have two major consequences: First a LOT less money will be spent keeping them out there (400 billion+ PER YEAR). Second it will make the world a lot more uneasy, which will change the world's view, instead of being viewed as the world's bully we'll be seen as we ARE the world's Saviour (remember we are the GOOD guys).
5. Create a MUCH reduced FLAT TAX - Economics 101: Put the money BACK in American's hands! An EQUAL percentage is the ONLY FAIR way to do it. For example if I make $50,000/year I pay 3% tax which is $1500 and someone who makes $5,000,000 also pays 3% and that is $150,000 FAIR and EQUAL!! I don't know if 3% is right, but I do know that it doesn't have to be a lot if you cut government programs back, whether you make $10,000 or $1,000,000,000 everyone pays! You'd have a flat federal and a flat state and that is IT!! No sales tax, no property tax, no DEATH tax, no capital gains tax, etc. If you don't like the thought of no social programs then move to a state that has them, and if you love the idea of no social programs (and want to give your money to an inefficient system) then also likewise to that corresponding state. Let money be put back into Americans hand and WATCH US!! Watch us become wealthy again, and poor, will be poor NO MORE!! (Just for the record churches and charities is where your welfare dollars should go, NOT Washington, your state capital or any governing body.)
6. Deregulate and let us be free - Get the feds out of your local schools, get them out of backyard, get them out of EVERY decision YOU should make. Let free enterprise make all the necessary changes and watch just how much we DON'T need Uncle Sam telling us what to do, think, and say! If you the consumer doesn't like a particular insurance carrier's underhanded practices then don't place your business with them, and tell your friends to do the same. This will make it so insurance will have to do what YOU the consumer wants instead of what the special interests in Washington want.
7. Let God back in our lives - put God back in the schools, put God back in the constitution, put God back where He belongs... in EVERY ASPECT HUMAN LIFE!

I know this was long winded, but I had to get all of my goals out in the open. I plan to make every post short and sweet from here on out, when YOU or I see a freedom being taken away, or something that is unconstitutional I want it posted so WE can know and take action to correct it. Lets fight for the FREEDOM that we used to have, so our kids can enjoy a free God fearing nation.
