Freedom to choose - GONE

It starts like this:

Did you know that after 2012 you will not be able to get an incandescent light bulb? The light bulb you grew up with will be banned in 2012 you'll be forced to get the more efficient longer lasting bulb. That sounds great right? Cheaper, longer lasting, "GREEN" bulb right? I won't get into the global warming debate (even though the facts are clear that Global Warming is a lie, and a BIG FAT ONE), but shouldn't you be able to choose? Since when is okay to take our choices away in the name of "Earth Conservation?!?!" I am outraged about this, not because I hate the earth, don't get me wrong I love it (remember I have a degree in Biology), but this is one of MANY freedoms we are loosing. We need to STAND up and FIGHT for our freedom to CHOOSE, it is a GOD given right and MAN CANNOT take it away, but yet our GOVERNMENT IS!!!

Here is the kicker to this whole mess, it was President BUSH's administration that imposed the ban not OBAMA's!! Progressives on BOTH sides of the isle are the problem and we need to put them back in their corner where they belong. They are the VAST minority, but because the Majority is afraid to speak they are loosing the battle. It is time we take our country BACK!! I want Freedom NOW, freedom to make my own choices, right or wrong they are MINE to make.

If you don't believe me here are a few links to some articles about it, feel free to google "2012 incandescent light bulb ban," you'll get plenty of articles about how were going to save the planet one dim light bulb at a time.

What are they going to do next? First off you'll have to pay for the more expensive bulb right (yea, yea I know they are cheaper in the long run, bu they are a LOT more up front)? What about the real energy hogs the AC/HEAT units? Are they going to make you buy new ones of those by 2020? 2030? Who has 5+ grand to drop on each one? I know I don't. You are saying that there is no way they'd do that, but what is to stop them? In the name of Global Warming they are doing a lot of crazy things, the light bulbs are just the foot in the door.

Taking away choices is WRONG, freedom to choose is GOD GIVEN, and I say you need to stand up with me and tell your politicians that you want to make your OWN choices. The government needs to govern NOT RULE!!

Spread the word!

  1. Oh it's going on with A/C units. The most common refrigerant used was R-22. I think the ban already went into effect. Now if you buy a new unit it's probably 410-A refrigerant. More efficient. Which really isn't a bad thing but same as light bulbs. More expensive upfront but will save you in the long run. So as of now... if you have an R-22 unit... most people probably do, like me.... if it needs to be charged you will have to use recycled R-22 which you better hope was not contaminated by the tech or else it'll ruin everything. So not only do you have to purchase the more expensive a/c but you have to have the right lineset and coil to match that can work with that refrigerant or else it doesn't work right. You can read more info on the ban here: http://www.epa.gov/ozone/title6/phaseout/22phaseout.html
Now I'm not totally opposed to the a/c thing because a more efficient unit can actually work better and cool better if installed correctly so it could be a good thing but it shouldn't be forced... same with light bulbs... just to boycott... I'm gonna stock up on the normal ones and have a stash since we rarely change light bulbs anyway. I don't want those ugly coil things in my house... so lame

  2. I just found your blog through my sister's. Thank you for not being afraid to speak the truth....too many people think that their freedom will always be there. May we all be brave and strong like our forefathers and preserve what they fought so selflessly for! I, for one, want to stop undoing everything that was done to make this country great. Thanks so much for your inspiring and truthful words!!
